A Mother and Son Study Day

A candid photo: relating to photography of subjects acting naturally or spontaneously without being posed. ~Merriam-Webster
I love shooting candid photos. It’s one of my favorite forms of photography. It’s a great way to capture people in their special moments… with natural, true expressions. Recently I was hanging out at the home of a friend, and her son was studying for an important math exam. As I watched them, I couldn’t help but pull out my camera to capture those fleeting moments of mother and son interaction. I think they are so used to me, they pretended I wasn’t even there. Years from now, they will definitely remember this particular Sunday morning, because it has forever been frozen in time.
Sometimes, you don’t need a special occasion to have a photographer around… you only need to be living your life.
